The LLB program offered by the School of Law at Apex Professional University as per regulations of the Bar Council of India (BCI) will lead to a professional Law degree. LL.B. is a three years undergraduate program which focuses on the study of depth analysis of all the relevant laws along with their practical implementation aspect. The program is structured in a way so that the students shall be trained for the understanding of law, as well as the critical, analytical and strategic thinking skills necessary for the field of law. The course, apart from instilling the legal knowledge to students shall also instill a sense of value and ethics, which will help the students not only in becoming good lawyers but will also help them in becoming good human beings. Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)
  • PEO1      Students shall be able to define architectural designs that satisfy both aesthetics and technical requirements with the adequate acquired knowledge of the history and related fields. They shall be able to appraise the physical problems, technologies and functions of buildings and summarize so as to provide justified internal conditions of comfort and protection against the climate.
  • PEO2      Students shall have an understanding of the relationship between people and buildings, and distinguish between buildings and the environment, thus being able to able to analyze the methods of investigation and illustrate the preparation of the brief for a design project.
  • PEO3      Students shall demonstrate an understanding of the profession of architecture and the role of an     architect in society and at the same time have the ability to display sensitivity towards concerns for environmental and energy issues.
  • PEO4      Students shall be able to appraise themselves with the design skill necessary to meet building users’ requirements within the constraints imposed through adequate knowledge of the industries, organizations, regulations, and procedures.
Program Outcomes (PO’s)
  • PO – 1: Architectural knowledge : Apply the knowledge of design, science, engineering fundamentals, and architectural specialisations to the solution of complex architectural problems.
  • PO – 2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex architectural problems reaching substantiated conclusions using   principles of design and architecture
  • PO – 3: Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex architectural problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  • PO – 4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • PO – 5: Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern architecture and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex architectural activities with an understanding of the limitations.
  • PO – 6: The architect and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional architectural practice.
  • PO – 7: Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional architectural   solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
  • PO – 8: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the architectural practice.
  • PO – 9: Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams and in multidisciplinary settings.

Apex Professional University nurtures and encourages the curious, determined, and creative minds and strongly believes that money should not be a constraint for such students. So, the University extends Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme for the students taking admission at APU.

APU extends scholarships and financial assistance to meritorious and talented students based on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification. Continuation of the APU Academic Scholarships are designed to encourage and reward consistently meritorious performance through the duration of the program. The Academic Scholarships will be awarded based on CGPA at the end of each year.

The amount of Scholarship also depends on the Phase in which the candidate takes Admission in the University. Admissions in APU is done in four Phases. All the Scholarships awarded will be for a specific year only and for subsequent years, it may continue / discontinue based on performance of the student in qualifying year and Scholarship policy applicable from time to time.

In order to fund your studies, you will need to undertake careful research – the options available to you will differ, depending on your domicile. There are several government scholarships and stipends on offer from UGC, Central and State Governments extending to the APU Students. 

  • Applicants will have to go through the following process:

    • Submission of completed application form with all relevant enclosures and application fee
    • Review of applications and short-listing of candidates
    • Admission decision taken by the Admission Committee
  • The decision to short-list applicants for a personal interview and make a formal offer of admission thereafter will be taken by the Admission Committee. The committee’s decision in this regard is final and binding.
